Demi Lune table, handpainted blue antique furniture

I all of a sudden one day got tired of roses. Was in a mood. I did this demi lune (half moon) table in light blue and added a blue rub. I then accented it in ivory. I painted a diamond pattern on the sides. I loved it. Got the frustration out of my system and am painting roses again.

Hand painted furniture for the beach house

We did this great, good quality set for a couple who needed furniture for their shore house and wanted to repurpose what they had. They totally changed the color to make it lighter to fit in by the shore. When we got there, the color scheme was beautiful. Soft colors on the walls, painted wood floors and this light furniture with plenty of carvings. Nice choice.

ANTIQUE DRESSER, PAINTED FURNITURE, PALE PINK

Purchased this beautiful dresser with a harp stand mirror. The hardware was a tough one. I like the glass knobs we put on. We painted it a very pale pink. It almost looks white until you put something white next to it and then you realize it is pink. I then accented it in places with ivory. All of a sudden I am into two tone. It is okay as long as I stay inspired and interested. When you have painted as long as I have you need to find something to keep your interest or you fall in a rut.

Pale blue handpainted vintage table

I purchased this table. Did not like the hardware! I also saw that the trim on the drawers needed to be knocked off because it was beyond repair. I painted it a pale blue and put on beautiful white glass handles that I bet I bought about 4 or 5 years ago and I was waiting for the right piece to put them on. I thought that roses just did not fit this piece since it is very retro looking. From the 1950s. I notice that my antique dealer friends are calling this style "mid century". Who would've thought?

Handpainted vintage magazine table

Found this great magazine table. I haven't seen many lately. They are slowly disappearing. I think the bottom would be great for books, dvds, cds, maybe even magazines. Use your imagination. Painted this a creamy white and then added handpainted roses in burgundy and golden yellow. www.handpaintedbycookie.com

Handmade pillows, vintage fabric

I made, yes made, these great pillows. They are 16 x 16. Some are from new "Waverly brand" fabric and the others are vintage fabric that I bought at auction. I sewed beads and earrings and sometimes bows on them. Dressed them perfectly for your cottage, shabby chic home.

Construction chair for child

I did this great chair for a little boy who loved construction vehicles. His mom brought in a pillow case from his bed and I copied the dump truck.

Handpainted antique dresser

We did this great old piece for a customer. We added glass knobs (my favorite) and the mirror is theirs. We also added new wheels. We only added a small amount of artwork because the dresser itself was so pretty that it did not need alot of painting.
