french provincial night table, shabby chic table

We bought a whole set of this french provincial bedroom furniture. I love french provincial but felt the extra mouldings on the front was just a little too much. I thought the feet and wood applique and knobs were just the right amount of "french provincial". So I experimented and the trim popped right off.
I then painted it blue and added gold accents. This piece is still available in the store. But please check our website click here to go to store

This was a humidor with a door. I took the door off because it was beyond repair and took out the metal lining.  I then took off the hinges and patched the holes. Beautiful quality sideboard, buffet, vintage and painted with distressed edges. Kept original hardware and painted and distressed it. Great little telephone table we purchased at an antique fair. We painted it off white, distressed the edges and added flowers to the top. Did not last long in the store. It is not available now but was sold but please click thru to our website to see what we do have.

Vintage Painted Night Stand, Side table

We got this cute colonial table, solid wood, great shape. Hand Painted Shabby Chic Table Vintage

We did this cute little table for a customer.  It had veneer problems and was bubbling and she was not sure what to do.  We were able to repair it and paint it for her new home.  We actually used a colored butchers wax to get the pretty finished.  We then added very neutral colored flowers. Vintage Painted Telephone Table

A friend found this old telephone table for me.  This table was used when we had the old corded telephone and then you would slide the phone book on the shelf below.  I painted it a "french blue" and then put some gold on the edge and then stain.  I painted large pastel roses. I like the color combination. Vintage Painted Side Table Sage

This was a unique project.  We loved the table base above but the top was cracked--which could be fixed--but also warped.  We took the top off and used the top from the table in the first picture.  That table's base was cracked.  So we married the two tables together, to make the table below.  A sage green side table with gold edge.  It is available in the store right now for $59.00.  Please check website to make sure it is still available.

French Provincial Painted Vintage Tables

We did these two tables for someone who wanted similar tables but not identical.  The height difference was ok.  We painted them the same and they made a great pair. The top was done in shades of brown and the body of the tables in green.  This was a custom job and is not available in the store. We did this table that someone brought in from a relatives house. Needed a table to match the theme in the current babys room. It was for a boy--so no flowers!! This is a great table that we did for someone for their beach house. They brought it in and wanted it lighter and brighter so that it would be appropriate by the beach. I love this soft blue.
