We bought a whole set of this french provincial bedroom furniture. I love french provincial but felt the extra mouldings on the front was just a little too much. I thought the feet and wood applique and knobs were just the right amount of "french provincial". So I experimented and the trim popped right off.

This was a beautiful french provincial dresser that I put a lot of detail into.  I had a customer who loved the look and detail of the piece itself but wanted a very bold blue for a lake house.  She liked anything but floral and loved the blue and yellow combination. Antique Painted Carved French Provincial Mirror

This mirror was part of a truly amazing set.  It had beautiful carvings and was very special. I painted it a creamy white and add small rosebuds at the top. I repainted the gold edging. We also brought it to a mirror shop and had a new piece of glass cut.  The shape was unusual and it took three times before we got the cut right.
