This was the greatest project. We bought this beautiful old cabinet from the early 1900s. It must have weighed 10,000 pounds. We had so much trouble moving it around. We thought once we got it to our store, how would we ever get it out of there!!! So, we had this idea to seperate the top from the bottom. It easily unscrewed. We are using the top in our home as a cabinet and we repainted the bottom so that we could offer it in the store. What a change. Amazing what some paint can do. But, it is still heavy!!

Hand painted Vanity, Creamy White, Shabby Chic
We did this beautiful vanity from 1929. Loved the hardware so we just gave it a fresh coat of paint. The center of the vanity has a small jewelry box for treasures. This is very different. I have not seen alot of pieces like this. It is in the store currently http://www.handpaintedbycookie.com

Handpainted antique dresser
We painted this beautiful dresser a creamy white and replaced the old hardware with new glass knobs and handles. Just the hardware alone makes such a difference. Then I thought it looked a little plain so I painted the ovals to give the dresser dimension. We then added a round attached mirror. It is available currently in the store.
