Painted vintage radio cabinet bookcase shabby chic

 We purchased this radio cabinet and took out the insides.  It had doors that were warped and we removed them.  We then replaced the back and painted it and it became a shabby chic bookcase.  Great use for an old piece

Antique Painted Armoire, Wardrobe, Shabby Distressed

We recently did this wardrobe, armoire for the store.  It is painted off white with creamy accents and slightly distressed.  We kept it's original hardware and slightly distressed it. There is a matching bed.  I recently learned from researching and talking to antique dealer friends of mine, that wardrobe and armoire mean the same thing.  They used to use these closets for armor (shields, swords) long ago in France.  It then changed into something for clothing.  But, when there are two doors that open--It is an armoire or wardrobe.

Vintage Painted Lingerie Chest

We painted this vintage lingerie chest that was in great shape but just needed a make over. We changed out the handles to glass ones and repainted the entire piece in an antique white.  This piece is currently available in the store. Vintage Painted French Provincial Dresser

We did the dresser for a customer who picked out these three warm colors and wanted to incorporate them into the dresser.  She knew exactly how she wanted the blue and gray.  We also did side tables for her in just the white.  This was something very different for me, but I was glad to try something new. Vintage Painted Buffet, Sideboard, Server

We have this server available in the store right now. Maple with 2 large cabinets and one large drawer. We painted it olive and then added black accents and a warm stain on the top.  Handpainted roses accent the drawer front.

Painted Vintage French Provincial Dresser

We painted this beautiful large dresser for a customer who wanted to use it as an entertainment center in the living room.  We did it 2 shades of green with a brown top. Behind the double doors, we took out the drawers and made them shelves for the media equipment.  It really turned out to be a beautiful piece.  She picked a beautiful color combination.
